Normal everyday wear brands earn their money, but the clothes that they sell do not have any third party reseller, these clothes do not have any resale market on them, there is no re selling of pre owned goods or any new goods for higher than a retail price for that matter.
Half of the time the clothes of these brands do not sell out in the first place, that's why things like sales and discounts.These clothes create no further opportunities for the market.
Brands like supreme, bape, palace all of these trending and "hypebeasts" brands sell out, and even after they sell out they further have resell which creates business opportunities for people, reselling is considered as a "job", you could buy a tee for 54 dollars and sell it for 400 dollars.This culture creates opportunities.
Even if you are not into the clothes you could just be the middleman connecting to the buyer.
